Model Programs

Provide advanced training in the arts for talented students:
Learning in Community--Arts (LINC-Arts)
An arts mentorship program for high-school students who are highly talented in any of the arts, matches them with community mentors to develop skills and learn about opportunities after high school.

Personalized Consultation
The Maine Alliance for Arts Education (MAAE) offers consultation to help with many of the common challenges that schools face as they develop and sustain quality arts education programming.

MAAE’s expertise includes:

  • Curriculum development in dance, drama, music, visual art and writing assessment
  • Grant research and writing
  • Professional development
  • Advocacy training
  • Locating outstanding artists for workshops, residencies, and performances

A community audit can help you:

  • Identify the strengths of your current arts education programs
  • Improve and expand arts education opportunities for your students
  • Locate community resources

MAAE can help you perform a Community Audit to assess and improve your current arts programs. To find out more about the benefits of a Community Audit, contact MAAE.
